Described the hydrogeologic relationships of the watershed based upon grain size distributions, surface and groundwater temperatures, groundwater elevations, and the locations of other surface water features. A comprehensive three-dimensional framework of the study area revealed the sources and sinks of specific streams within the parcel and allowed for the development of the mine plan, which included the creation of a number of lakes, with minimal impacts to the watershed.
